Its 20x optical zoom makes it possible to zoom in on distant areas and targets while maintaining a much higher level of detail than with conventional digital zoom. This is combined with a continuous 360° horizontal pan, allowing the PTZ dome to move across the scene and considerably expand the surveillance area.

Starlight, Dark Killer and infrared up to 100 metres
During the day, seeing clearly is relatively simple. The real challenge begins when the light fades.
That is why the new SD5Z20 Dome incorporates Starlight and Dark Killer technology, optimising the image in low-light scenarios and allowing more effective surveillance to be maintained when conditions become more challenging.
In addition, its infrared illumination has a range of up to 100 metres, considerably expanding the possibilities for night surveillance in open spaces or large areas.
Intelligent analytics that turns video into useful information
The SD5Z20 is not designed solely to move the camera and enlarge an image. It incorporates intelligent functions such as SMD, perimeter protection, auto tracking, people counting, face detection and fire detection, as well as working with people and vehicle metadata.
Thanks to automatic tracking or auto tracking, the PTZ dome can follow the movement of a target within the scene, while tools such as perimeter protection or people counting make it possible to use video in a much more active way.
The camera thus stops being merely a viewing point and becomes a tool capable of providing relevant information about what is happening within the installation.
