The new OPTEX TXI curtain detectors have been designed to protect windows, façades, terraces, balconies and outdoor access points with an exceptional level of precision.
Their purpose is to detect only what truly represents a threat, reducing false alarms to a minimum even in demanding environments.
Triple AND Logic: detects only what matters
One of the TXI’s key differentiators is its Triple AND Logic technology.
The detector creates three independent detection zones and only generates an alarm when all three simultaneously identify the presence of a person. The result is much more reliable detection and high immunity to pets, vegetation and minor environmental movements.
SMDA technology: digital intelligence in every detection
OPTEX’s SMDA (Super Multidimensional Analysis) digital processing analyses multiple movement parameters to distinguish between a real intrusion and disturbances caused by rain, wind, temperature changes or other environmental conditions.
This provides much more stable operation throughout the year.
Fully adaptable coverage
Every installation is different. That is why the OPTEX TXI sensor allows different installation heights to be selected, the detection distance to be adjusted up to 12 metres, and even Zero Angle Mode to be activated to also protect the area located directly beneath the detector.
In addition, it incorporates anti-tamper protection by means of an accelerometer capable of detecting tampering, tilting or attempts to remove the detector.
New integration between OPTEX and VESTA: the easiest curtain detector to install
The combination of the VESTA-271 transmitter with TXI detectors transforms a traditional installation into a completely wireless, intelligent and Plug & Play solution.
The transmitter connects directly to the detector via the BUS, powers it with its own CR123A battery and transmits all alarm and tamper signals directly to the VESTA control panel via 868 MHz F1 radio.
Installation in less than three minutes
Simply install the TXI detector, connect the BUS cable to the VESTA-271 transmitter and press the Learn button. The control panel automatically recognises the device, making it ready for operation in less than three minutes.
Virtually the entire configuration can be carried out remotely using the SmartHomeSec APP. Parameters that can be modified include:
- PIR sensitivity.
- LED activation or deactivation.
- Battery saving mode.
- General detector configuration.
All of this without physically accessing the device once it has been installed. For the installer, this means a significant reduction in travel and maintenance time. For the user, it ensures an installation that is always optimised.
