The new VESTA FW35I update is now available, bringing a wide range of enhancements that optimize the performance of VESTA Advanced Video and SmartHomeSec.

From a much more intuitive navigation experience to new automation features, solar camera integration, and improved installation management, this release is designed to help installers, integrators, and end users work faster, more efficiently, and with greater convenience.

Below, we take a closer look at the most important new features included in this update.

VESTA Advanced Video evolves to deliver a much more intuitive user experience

The new version of VESTA Advanced Video focuses on what really matters: accessing information faster and making decisions more efficiently.

One of the most noticeable improvements is the addition of camera thumbnails, allowing users to preview each camera without opening the video stream. At a glance, it is now possible to identify what is happening on every device.

A more visual and intuitive timeline

Playback has also been completely redesigned. Users can now pinch to zoom on the timeline, just as they would in map applications or the smartphone photo gallery, making it easy to move quickly through different moments of the day.

In addition, every event type is instantly recognizable thanks to a color-coded timeline:

  • Green: Continuous recording.
  • Blue: Smart detection.
  • Yellow: Motion detection.

Specific icons are also displayed for every event, making it even easier to identify what happened without constantly applying filters.

Smart SD and HD streaming

Another practical enhancement is available in Live View.

By default, video opens in SD quality, providing almost instant loading times. When higher image detail is required, users simply tap a single icon to switch to HD for maximum image quality.

More useful notifications

For any compatible camera, you can set up the notification with a verification photo.

In addition, installers can use a new analytics test mode to easily verify that intelligent detection is working correctly during system commissioning.

3-in-1 control for active deterrence

Cameras are no longer limited to video recording.

Thanks to the new automation rules, each camera can independently control three different outputs:

  • Alarm LED.
  • White light.
  • Speaker.

This makes it possible to create fully automated scenarios. For example, when a camera detects an intrusion in a garden, it can simultaneously activate the white light, play an audio warning through the speaker, and trigger the alarm LED to immediately deter the intruder.

The result is a much more proactive and effective security system.

VESTA solar cameras are now fully integrated into the VESTA ecosystem

One of the most anticipated new features is the complete integration of VESTA Home solar cameras into SmartHomeSec.

Installation is extremely simple thanks to Bluetooth pairing, allowing the camera to be added in just a few minutes without wiring or power supply.

Once added, the camera is managed just like any other VESTA device.

From the same application, users can view live video, play recordings stored on the microSD card, check the battery level, rotate the image, and format the memory card.

Improvements designed for professional installations of any size

The new release also introduces numerous optimizations aimed at simplifying installers’ daily work.

Among the main new features are:

Change device credentials without removing the device.
Update camera access credentials at any time without losing the existing configuration or reinstalling the device.

Remove VESTA NVRs and cameras directly from the settings menu.
Quickly and securely delete NVRs and VESTA cameras directly from the settings section without following complex procedures.

Configure port directly from the application.
Support has been added for cameras and NVRs using custom communication ports, making installations requiring non-standard ports much easier.

Yale DDL-C3 smart lock integration into rules and scenes with code verification.
Integration with Yale smart locks has been enhanced through the DDL-C3 module using the F1 wireless protocol.

Up to 500 PIN codes per area for improved user management.
More power and flexibility for VESTA control panels. With support for up to 500 users per area, VESTA panels can now manage as many as 4,000 users in total.

New energy-saving mode with five configurable levels.
VESTA panels now feature five configurable energy-saving modes, allowing installers to tailor power consumption to each customer’s requirements.

Simple integration of third-party IP cameras without requiring the master account.
The installer account now allows centralized management of VESTA NVRs and cameras, making it easier to add or remove devices.

Network device discovery with real-time progress indicator.
The camera and NVR discovery process has been improved by adding a real-time progress animation during network scanning.

Enhanced RP connection map visualization.
The connection map between devices, repeaters, and the control panel has been upgraded with new tools that allow both detailed and global visualization.

New alarm status for 24-hour sensors.
Management of zones configured as 24-hour has been improved, ensuring alarm and restore events now correctly reflect the zone status.

Support for new automation devices such as the ESL emergency light and the RC-32 remote control.
The system expands its automation capabilities through compatibility with new devices, including the ESL emergency light and the RC-32 remote control, delivering more complete and versatile solutions while improving emergency response.

An update that strengthens the entire VESTA ecosystem

The VESTA FW35I update once again reflects VESTA’s philosophy of continuously improving the system to provide an increasingly complete, intuitive, and future-ready platform capable of meeting the real needs of today’s security market.

At VESTA, not only do the features evolve—the entire user experience evolves.

Imagine the best, done!
