These are the main improvements included in release 35D, focused on making the system more powerful, flexible and easier to use for distributors, installers and end users. With these updates, we take a major step forward in backend evolution with multi-distributor structures, simplify key processes such as installer registration and rule configuration, and strengthen integration with Vesta Advanced cameras to bring automation and deterrence capabilities to the next level.
1. New distributor structure in the backend
We have improved the backend architecture to enable more flexible and scalable distributor management.
The system now supports a multi-level structure:
- Main distributor
- Sub-distributor
- Installer
This means a distributor can create and manage their own sub-distributors within the platform. Each level can operate independently, with its own backend environment and customisation capabilities.
What does this change bring?
- Allows larger companies or distributors to better organise their network.
- Each sub-distributor can have its own configuration and customisation.
- The main distributor retains visibility and control over the entire network and can provide support when needed.
- Improves system scalability, adapting it to more complex commercial structures.
Previously, the system only supported a simple distributor–installer structure. With this enhancement, we introduce a key intermediate layer for more advanced business models.

2. Installer registration via QR code
We have simplified the installer registration process to make it faster and error-free.
During registration, installers can now scan a QR code to be automatically linked to a distributor or sub-distributor. There is no longer any need to search or select manually.

How does it work?
- The distributor or sub-distributor generates a QR code from the backend.
- This code can be easily shared (manuals, guides, onboarding, etc.).
- The installer scans the QR code via the app during registration.
- The system automatically assigns them to the corresponding backend.
What are the benefits?
- Simplifies the registration process.
- Prevents errors in distributor assignment.
- Simplifies onboarding of new technicians.
- Enables faster scaling of installer networks.
This functionality is available in the installer app and can be managed from the backend by distributors and sub-distributors.

3. Remote (OTA) update for PIRCAM 897 series (VESTA-422, VESTA-423, VESTA-460, VESTA-479)
We have introduced the ability to remotely update all indoor and outdoor PIRCAMs from the new 897 series.
Firmware updates can now be carried out directly from the portal, without any physical interaction with the device.
What changes with this improvement?
- The update process is very fast, completing in under one minute.
- Can be managed remotely for one or multiple devices.
- Eliminates the need for on-site maintenance visits.
What are the benefits?
- Time savings in support and maintenance operations.
- Greater control over device status and firmware versions.
- Ability to deploy improvements or fixes immediately.
This functionality simplifies the management of large device fleets and enables continuous improvement.

4. Automatic image capture rules with PIRCAM
We have introduced a much faster way to configure automatic image captures with PIRCAM.
From a device configuration (door contacts, smoke detectors, water leak sensors or PIRs), it is now possible to link directly to a PIRCAM in just a few seconds.
How does it work?
- Select the device (e.g. a smoke detector).
- Choose the PIRCAM to associate from its configuration.
- When the device is triggered, the PIRCAM automatically captures an image.
- The image is sent directly to the event log.
The system automatically creates the rule, with no additional steps required.
What are the benefits?
- Much faster configuration without manual rules.
- Reduces linking errors.
- Improves visibility in critical events.
Use case:
In case of fire, when the smoke detector is triggered, the PIRCAM captures an image instantly.

5. Visible partition management on touch keypads (TSP)
We have improved the usability of touch keypads by allowing configuration of which partitions are displayed on the main screen.
Previously, systems with multiple partitions displayed all areas, even if only a few were used. Now it is possible to define exactly which areas are visible on each keypad.
How does it work?
- From Settings > Devices, in the TSP configuration (Wi-Fi or BUS).
- Select the partitions to display.
- The keypad will only show those areas on the main screen.
What are the benefits?
- Cleaner and simpler interface.
- Avoids confusion in multi-partition installations.
- Improves user experience in partial-use environments.

6. New rule triggers for wired contacts
We have expanded automation capabilities by introducing new triggers:
From now on, rules can be created that are triggered in two key situations:
- When any wired door contact is opened.
- When all wired door contacts are closed.
What does this enable?
- More precise automation based on real system status.
- Simpler configurations.
What are the benefits?
- Greater control over automation logic.
- More straightforward configuration.
- Improved security and efficiency scenarios.
Use case:
- Trigger an action when any door opens (e.g. turn on lights).
- Execute an action when all doors are closed (e.g. automatically arm the system).

7. Image notifications in Vesta Advanced Video & Vesta Home cameras (informative mode). Soon also available in Qallmax
We have added a new option that allows cameras to be used as activity sensors without triggering alarms.
With this feature, cameras can send notifications with images regardless of system status:
- Disarmed
- Armed (home mode)
- Fully armed

How does it work?
- Configured directly in the camera settings.
- When an event occurs, the camera sends a notification with an image.
- The event is logged but does not trigger sirens or alarms.
What are the benefits?
- Enables monitoring without arming the system.
- Allows cameras to act as activity sensors.
Use case:
If someone crosses a configured area while the system is disarmed, you receive a notification with an image without triggering an alarm.

8. 3-in-1 function control in Vesta Advanced cameras via rules. Soon also available in Qallmax
One of the most powerful improvements in this release is the ability to control 3-in-1 camera functions directly from rules.
It is now possible to activate:
- White light
- Alarm light (red + blue LED)
- Built-in siren
All of this as part of any automatic rule or scenario.
How does it work?
- These actions are added within rule configuration.
- They can be triggered individually or combined.
- Full customisation based on event type.
What does this enable?
- Turn cameras into an active protection system.
- Automatically respond to security events.
- Create advanced deterrence scenarios.
What are the benefits?
- Higher security level without additional devices.
- More advanced and flexible automation.
- Significant improvement in deterrence capability.
Use case:
- Activate lights and siren during an alarm.
- Illuminate pathways when a door is opened.
- Create customised responses based on event or zone.

9. Interface and video display improvements in QallMax
We have introduced key improvements in both user experience and video display.
New iOS interface (Liquid Glass UI)
For iOS devices, we have incorporated the new Liquid Glass UI design, delivering a more modern, fluid, and visually engaging experience within the application.
In addition, key interface elements have been updated on both Android and iOS:
- More modern and fluid design.
- New arm/disarm icons (open/closed padlocks).
- Removal of old shield icons.
This results in a more intuitive and consistent app experience.

Video display improvements (QallMax and BUS & Wi-Fi touch keypads)
On QallMax control panels, we have optimized the camera viewing system:
- Use of sub-streams for smoother performance.
- More stable display, even with multiple cameras.
- Support for up to 24 channels on both the panel and TSP keypads.
