We have just released firmware version 34I for our VESTA control panels.
This update streamlines installation, reduces errors, increases technical productivity, and enhances the end-user experience in SmartHomeSec.
The major new feature is the full integration of VESTA Advanced Video, which combines Intrusion and CCTV into a high-level all-in-one solution, offering greater value, increased demonstration capability, and fewer technical objections.
1. Installer and user experience improvements
New “Simple Wizard” installation assistant
Following the success of Wizard V1, we present a simplified assistant designed so that any technician, even with no prior VESTA control panel experience, can configure the system in minutes. It turns complex settings into clear steps and on/off options from SmartHomeSec.
Main advantages:
- Choice between Advanced or Simple Wizard when registering the control panel.
- Streamlined workflow with Save and Next combined into a single click.
- Direct configuration of devices, network, and ARC (hiding Group1, as it’s the app).
- Final animation confirming successful installation.
Practical applications:
- Express installation: use “Simple Wizard” for standard residential installations, providing a full configuration in 5 minutes.
- Complex project: use “Advanced Wizard” for installations with multiple areas, providing more detailed control.

Enhanced access security: ready for NIS2 / EN compliance
We have implemented new measures to protect access without sacrificing usability:
- Progressive lockout after three failed access attempts (from 5 to 60 minutes).
- Automatic lock reset on successful login, password reset, or on new accounts.
- Removal of captcha in processes where it created friction.
Important note: if a user forgets their password and reaches the attempt limit, they will be able to reset it and regain access to the system immediately, without additional processes.

2. New device functionalities
Dust accumulation indicator: SD-H-32-SC (VESTA-336N)
The detector now includes a dust accumulation percentage indicator, visible in both the device list and the status page, accessible to installers. It appears with a specific icon accompanied by the value in percentage (%) and is integrated into both the overall device view and each device’s detail view.
☑️ Enables predictive maintenance: when a detector reaches or exceeds 85% accumulation, cleaning or servicing can be scheduled before the device fails, thus optimising system reliability.
Integrated siren function in detectors: SD-H-32-SC (VESTA-336N)
The SD-H-32-SC series detector can now act as a system siren, activating automatically in the event of an alarm. The duration of the audible signal is remotely configurable, providing greater flexibility and adaptability for each installation.
Integration with outdoor solar panel sensors: Series 897
From the portal, it is now possible to clearly and comprehensively view the full status of the sensor and the charge level generated by its solar panel.
☑️ Particularly useful in outdoor installations powered by solar energy: the installer can check if the sensor has a low battery or is charging, and adjust alarms according to the actual power status.
Integration with fog generators — VESTA (URFOG / SFB-3)
Full integration of URFOG fog generators via F1 / VMAX BUS integration board. This functionality enables full system monitoring, triggering, and testing, including:
- Liquid level monitoring
- 5-second fog activation for testing
- Remote configuration of trigger time in the event of an alarm
☑️ This development positions VESTA as one of the most complete systems on the market for remote fogging management. It simplifies maintenance, enables on-site tests with greater control, and optimises coordinated operations with the control panel.
3. Integrations and compatibility
New additions to the ecosystem:
- RP-35-COMBO: F1/SF1 repeater via BUS
- SD-H-32-SC: dust indicator and integrated siren
- 897EX-Solar-IL: solar charge and battery status view
We are expanding the VESTA SECURITY and SmartHomeSec ecosystem with new integrations that improve diagnostic capabilities and offer more remote configuration options. This translates into fewer technical visits, faster response times, and a significant improvement in service level agreements (SLAs).
“Add via Cloud” support for VESTA Home cameras
It is now possible to add VESTA Home cameras via cloud connection, even when they are not on the same network as the panel. This is particularly useful in installations where the camera and panel are in different locations or networks.
Current limitations: in this version, the integration only allows streaming via the app. Upcoming updates will expand the available functions.
VESTA Advanced Video: ADV IP cameras
Full integration of the entire ADV camera range at IP camera level has been completed, significantly expanding video surveillance options.

- Automatic time synchronisation with the VESTA panel (DST enabled).
- Playback of IVS events with 10 seconds before and 20 seconds after the alarm (microSD required).
- Colour coding to differentiate event types such as region crossing, line crossing, or human detection.
4. New rules and automations
Trigger: locked/unlocked door
The lock status can now be used as a trigger within the system rules, expanding automation and security possibilities.
Usage examples:
- Convenience: upon unlocking the door when arriving, automatically turn on the hallway lights.
- Security: if the door is opened with an unauthorised key, trigger the alarm immediately and send a notification.
5. Backend options and APIs
- GSM Event in templates: facilitates mass deployments, such as changing a SIM-related parameter in bulk.
- SIA2 option in Report Template: SIA2 has been added as an option in “Report Via” for report templates, making it easier to create templates based on ARC with SIA DC09.
- API – New endpoint for automatic status and resistance checks on wired zones: a new API endpoint has been added to retrieve resistance measurements in wired zones. This functionality enables automated remote diagnostics, allowing integrators to continuously and efficiently monitor the resistance of wired zones.
6. Localisation and minor user interface (UI) improvements
- Support for the Swedish language in Google Home (currently pending release).
- “Access Equipment” button added to the Equipment Management (Dynamic) section.
- Default login now redirects to the Dynamic version, including a “Use the previous UI!” button to return to the classic portal.
