The new 34F firmware version is now available for VESTA systems. This update introduces major improvements focused on integrating new devices, enhancing tools for installers, meeting regulatory standards, and delivering a smoother user experience. We continue to evolve our ecosystem to make it more complete, flexible, and professional for everyone.

1. New VESTA Web Portal

We’ve centralised access to all SmartHomeSec services through a new portal:

2. Integration of VESTA Solar Cameras (BETA 1.0)

It is now possible to integrate VESTA solar cameras:

  • Models VESTA-462 and VESTA-463
  • Easy to add via the app: go to Cameras, tap “+”, select VESTA, scan the QR code and choose CLOUD connection
  • Note: This BETA version supports live video streaming and automatic wake-up. More features coming soon.

3. Integration of VESTA Advanced Series Cameras

The VESTA Advanced camera series is now integrated into the system:

  • Added via SmartHomeSec app in under 1 minute
  • Supports direct playback of SD card recordings
  • Full IVS features to trigger alarms: line crossing and region intrusion
  • Syncs panel status with camera lights and sound (arm/disarm)
  • Captures images in case of alarm
  • Alarm playback viewable directly from the app

4. Enhanced video playback interface

The camera playback experience has been redesigned:

  • Interactive timeline for browsing recordings
  • Categorised view: motion or continuous recording
  • Pinch-to-zoom support for detail
  • Toggle between standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD)
  • Integration guide available in the ADV knowledge base

5. New language available: Romanian

Hello, Romania!

The VESTA ecosystem is now fully available in Romanian.

6. Integration with YALE locks

You can now control YALE locks from the VESTA system:

  • Compatible via F1 DDL-3 interface
  • Full access code management from the SmartHomeSec app
  • Full control: lock, unlock and more
  • New CID events:
    • 1371: Lock user added
    • 3371: Lock user removed

7. Installer tools

a) Last zone activation resistance and tolerance adjustment

Improved technical data for wired zones:

  • Displays the resistive value that triggered the last alarm
  • When tapping “Monitor resistance”, the message “Last resistance that triggered the alarm” is shown
  • New tolerance setting directly configurable from the panel
  • Available options: 20%, 30%, and 50%, offering more flexibility in system configuration

b) Compliance with PD6662 (United Kingdom)

For installations requiring compliance with British standard PD6662:

  • New option to enable PD6662 compliance mode
  • “Clear Fault” function to reset the system after resolving a physical fault
  • With PD6662 enabled, if a sensor is triggered during entry delay, the panel will sound the alarm but wait 30 additional seconds before sending the notification

c) BUS termination calculator

Advanced tool for large-scale projects:

  • Automatically calculates optimal positions for end-of-line resistors
  • Create and edit system diagrams directly on the platform
  • Real-time collaboration between multiple installers on the same diagram
  • Independent calculation of devices connected via isolators
  • Tabbed interface for efficient project organisation

8. Improved user experience

a) Image animation in event view

New way to display events with multiple images:

  • PIRCAM and IP camera images are automatically played in sequence
  • Thumbnails displayed below the main image
  • Intuitive control: tap the main image or a thumbnail to pause
  • Swipe to navigate to previous or next images in the event

b) BUS line monitoring

Better control of hybrid system status:

  • New CID codes:
    • 1342: BUS power lost
    • 3342: BUS power restored

With this new version, we continue to build a system that is powerful, versatile, and fully adaptable to the needs of users, professionals, and installers.

Imagine the best, done!
