At VESTA, we have taken outdoor detection one step further by combining PIR detection, HD visual verification, solar power, HDR, anti-masking, SF1 transmission and remote OTA updates in a single device.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Much more than motion detection<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Outdoors, not every movement represents a threat. Environmental changes, animals or certain lighting conditions can complicate detection and generate unnecessary alarms. <\/p>\n

VESTA-479<\/strong> incorporates enhanced digital detection logic capable of analysing different factors, such as light levels, temperature and environmental conditions, to distinguish relevant movements more accurately.<\/p>\n

The objective? Very clear: to reduce false alarms and improve detector reliability.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

It also offers a detection range of up to 10 metres<\/strong> when installed at a height of 2.3 metres and features pet immunity up to 25 kg<\/strong>, particularly useful characteristics for gardens, entrances, patios, perimeters and other outdoor areas.<\/p>\n

HDR: when a clear image can change the response<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Detection is important. Clearly seeing what has happened is even more important. <\/p>\n

The VESTA-479\u2019s integrated camera captures images at resolutions of up to 1280 \u00d7 720 pixels <\/strong>and incorporates HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This makes it possible to obtain clearer and more detailed images in scenarios with strong lighting contrasts, for example when one part of the scene is brightly lit while another remains in shadow.<\/p>\n

The PIRCAM also features infrared illumination with coverage of up to 10 metres,<\/strong> facilitating visual verification at night or in low-light areas.<\/p>\n

For alarm events, it can operate with different image configurations:<\/p>\n

  • 3 colour HD images at 1280 \u00d7 720 pixels.<\/li>\n
  • 6 colour VGA images at 640 \u00d7 480 pixels.<\/li>\n
  • 6 colour QVGA images at 320 \u00d7 240 pixels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    It can also provide an image on demand,<\/strong> adding an additional layer of information when it is necessary to check what is happening at the installation.<\/p>\n

    Anti-masking: because blocking the detector should also trigger a response<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Some sabotage attempts do not involve tampering with the entire system. Sometimes, simply trying to block the detector\u2019s view is enough. <\/p>\n

    This is why VESTA-479 incorporates infrared anti-masking on the lens<\/strong>, designed to detect attempts to cover, block or interfere with its field of view.<\/p>\n

    This is a particularly important function for outdoor protection, where the device may be more exposed to tampering and changing environmental conditions.<\/p>\n

    Integrated solar power<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    The VESTA-479 is a solar outdoor PIRCAM<\/strong> designed to harness sunlight and use it to continuously recharge its integrated battery, even while the device is operating.<\/p>\n

    In practice, this translates into something that both professionals and users particularly value: less dependence on periodic power supply maintenance and greater operating autonomy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The system manages energy automatically. When necessary, it can use lithium battery backup while solar power restores the charge. <\/p>\n

    This provides a particularly interesting solution for installations where we want to reduce maintenance interventions without compromising continuous outdoor protection.<\/p>\n

    For an installer or integrator, this means optimising site visits and simplifying maintenance. For the end user, it means having a system ready to keep protecting with much more efficient energy management. <\/p>\n

    SF1 and OTA updates: faster verification, easier maintenance<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    SF1<\/strong> technology enables the VESTA-479 to transmit HD images rapidly to the control panel, facilitating faster visual verification<\/strong> in the event of an alarm.<\/p>\n

    This is particularly useful both for users and for professionals and installations connected to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC)<\/strong>, where having clear visual information as soon as possible can help assess what has happened and speed up the response.<\/p>\n

    And there is another major advantage for professionals: OTA Firmware updates. <\/strong>The detector allows its Firmware to be updated remotely, avoiding unnecessary on-site interventions to keep the device up to date. Fewer site visits, easier management and an installation ready to continue evolving. <\/p>\n
