The following are the new features and improvements of the VESTA System, from firmware 30H and higher:

User experience and installer improvements

Programming mode access event reporting

    • When an Installer accesses the panel configuration, a programming entry event is reported.
    • If the Installer closes the web/application window automatically the programming close is reported

Assignment of “User 990” to report an automation mode change evento

    • When using the rules or scenes to change modes [ARMED, DISARMED or HOME ARMED], the mode change will be reported under USER 990 – AUTOMATIONS so that both CRA and event log will record the automation action

Expansion to 240 codes (users) for each área

  • o The number of users per AREA has been increased.
    o PREVIOUSLY: 30 users/area
    o CURRENTLY: 240 users/área

     

Added notification dashboard function in the user APP

o The installation company can use the push notification sending function of the backend to send notifications to cell phones of users. Users receive the push notification and can also see these notifications in the notification dashboard.
o On the bulletin board: every notification that has been sent to each user is listed and remains logged for 30 days.

Key features:

  • 🔔Push notifications: the feature allows the installation company to send push notifications to users’ cell phones directly. This ensures that users receive notifications instantly, without the need to open the app.
  • 👀 Display on the dashboard: Sent notifications can be viewed in the app’s dashboard. Each notification is listed individually, making it easy for users to review them and access important information.
  • 💾 Notification log: The notification dashboard keeps a record of all notifications sent to each user. This means that past notifications are available for viewing, even after they were initially viewed or dismissed.
  • 📅 Permanence of notifications: Notifications remain logged on the dashboard for 30 days. This allows users to access past notifications and refer to historical information should they need to reference it in the future.
  • 💫 Improved communication and user experience: The notification board feature improves communication between the installer and users by providing a direct channel to send relevant information, marketing or any purpose.

Added new event CID: 1370 to indicate the zone and user who has made a mode change [ARMED, DISARMED or HOME ARMED] from a card or tag reader.

Inactivity detection added in rules

  • If the panel detects inactivity in the system of more than 2 hours it can perform automatic actions, such as AUTO ARM, shutdown of a device or any action.

The user’s PIN code limits the control of devices in unauthorized areas.

That is, if a user belonging to AREA 1 wants to perform an action on a device in a different area, he/she will not be allowed to do so due to lack of permissions.

o Added the “Area” field in the access privilege in the user account creation section.
o From the installer/master APP, it will be possible to set access permissions to AREAS by USERS
o If a user does not have access rights to an area:

    • Cannot view devices in the unauthorized areas.

    • Cannot switch to the unauthorized áreas
    • Rooms/groups/scenes containing unauthorized areas will not be visible. In other words, rooms/groups/scenes can only be viewed if they contain conditions of authorized areas.
    • You cannot view events in unauthorized areas, but you can view system events.
    • Mode change widget: Cannot view unauthorized areas.
    • Scene application widget: Scenes containing unauthorized areas will not be displayed.

Added option to enable or disable “Local Web Access” from SHS.

  • From the installer account it is possible to enable or disable access to the local interface

New features and devices

Integration of IRAGS-35

  • It is a multiple sensor, a combination of an IR sensor and a microphonic glass breakage sensor.
  • Allows full remote configuration from SHS

Features

  • Flexible installation height from 2.3 to 2.5 meters (8 to 8.5 feet)

  • Remote control of pet sensitivity and immunity
  • Immunity for pets up to 25 kg
  • Alerts when detecting glass breakage

“VAELSYS” action added to scenes

o For integration with VAELSYS systems, the alarm action has been added with the specification of the analytics ZONE/CHANNEL to facilitate identification in VESTA.
o This integration allows from VAELSYS to activate the alarm in VESTA by specifying the analytics channel and report the alarm event to the USER and ARC.
o In VESTA SCENES we have an action named: VAELSYS so that when we apply the scene the panel goes into alarm with Zone 7XX depending on the specified zone.

    • Once selected “VAELSYS” in scenes you can select the zone number:
              • VAELSYS 1 –> GENERATE ALARM ON ZONE 700
              • VAELSYS 2 –> GENERATE ALARM IN ZONE 701
              • VAELSYS 3 –> GENERATE ALARM ON ZONE 702
              • VAELSYS 4 –> GENERATE ALARM IN ZONE 703

    • When VAELSYS goes into alarm, it can automatically specify which ZONE/CHANNEL is in alarm, triggering the scene corresponding to the channel, so that both the user and the CRA can know which analytical channel is in alarm.

Automatic bypassing of zones after a certain number of triggers in a given time. Number of triggers and duration time: configurable

o If a detector or zone is faulty and does not stop detecting, the system allows it to be automatically bypassed after X activations in XX time (Configurable in the SETTINGS section of the device).
o When a zone is bypassed, the bypass event is reported specifying the bypassed zone.

[BETA 0.1] Philips Bridge Integration [BETA 0.1]

o The integration with the philips bridge is completed
o The panel is able to detect any HUE BRIDGE connected to the same network as the VESTA panel.
o All luminaires can be added and used simultaneously from the SmartHomeSec APP or Philips App.

Which version do I need to upgrade to in order to have all the features?

  • For VESTA-046 and VESTA-047 control panels: HPGW_G_G_demes-0.0.2.30H or higher.
  • For VESTA-046N, -047N, -111N, -112N and -113N: GL_demes-0.0.2.30H or higher
  • For VESTA-243 control panels: ESGW_demes-0.0.2.30H or higher
